I.A.S.Coaching Centre
This
is useful activity started by the University for promoting competitive spirit and improve
the performance of the students in national level competitive examinations.
Teaching, Research, Development
& Extension Activities (TRDEA)
The
University has started a unique activity to take its academics to the society. The TRDEA
is the body that links teaching, research, development and extension activities of the
University with social needs. It tries to bridge the gap between the expectations of the
society and the academic activities of the faculty, so that many relevant and
socially useful research projects can be undertaken by the University for the welfare of
the society.
Indira Gandhi National Open
University, New Delhi
The
University has a study-centre of IGNOU for offering various courses by way of distance
learning mode. This centre offers various courses in commerce, science, technology
and medicine to all the students, who cannot avail of the regular facility of learning
provided by the colleges.
External & Ex-Students
The facility to appear as an external student for certain examinations is given to the
students, who cannot attend the regular college due to constraints of job, economic
conditions or for any such personal reasons. The last date for external students to submit
their application forms is 15th October for Summer examination and for
Winter exam it is 15th May. The Students who have failed
(Ex-Students) can also appear privately for the examinations.
Hostel Facilities
There
are Two boys hostels having intake capacity of 69 and a girls hostel with intake capacity
of 89. Two hostels are under construction with capacity of 100 each. |
